In most cases, Potassium feldspar is used as flux and main material in producing ceramics and while Sodic feldspar is used to produce glass and glaze. Aluminum cation available in feldspars is replaced by silica cation in the glass and increases the physical resistance of the glass against objects, sudden heating and bending.
