Steel sheet, as one of the most widely used steel products, is manufactured in various thicknesses and dimensions according to international standards such as ASTM, DIN, and EN. These sheets are made from high-quality carbon steel and feature a smooth, uniform surface for easy cutting, forming, and welding.

With adequate resistance to pressure and stress, competitive pricing, and versatility across industries such as construction, automotive, metal structures, and component manufacturing, steel sheets are an ideal choice for industrial and civil projects of all scales.

Sheet

Steel sheet is a fundamental product, manufactured through hot and cold rolling processes, and available in various types such as black, pickled & oiled, and galvanised sheets. Each type offers unique properties, including excellent formability, flawless weldability, and distinct surface quality.

This versatility makes steel sheet indispensable for applications such as automotive body panels, household appliances, shipbuilding, and industrial pipes. Manufactured according to recognised international standards, it ensures consistent quality and reliable performance even in demanding applications.

Steel Sheet Production

Steel sheets are produced through two main rolling processes: hot rolling and cold rolling. Some of the most important sheets produced by cold rolling include:

  • Galvanized sheet

  • Oiled (cold-rolled) sheet

  • Colored sheet

  • Tin-coated sheet

  • Aluzinc sheet

  • Sandwich panels

Types of Steel Sheet

Galvanized Sheet
Galvanized sheet is one of the most important types of steel sheets produced by cold rolling. It has a protective zinc layer that prevents corrosion and rust, making it highly durable for industrial and construction applications.

Oiled Sheet
Oiled sheet is thin and smooth, with a shinier surface compared to black sheet steel. Its standard grade is ST12, widely used in manufacturing and fabrication, where a clean surface finish is required.

Tin-Coated Sheet (Tinplate)
Tin-coated steel sheet is also produced by cold rolling and is widely used in acidic environments. Its surface is coated with tin and chromium, providing excellent protection against corrosion and rust.

Aluzinc Sheet
Aluzinc sheet is another type of cold-rolled steel sheet, containing a coating of zinc, aluminum, and silicon, which enhances corrosion resistance and durability.

Sheets Produced by Hot Rolling
Hot-rolled steel sheets include:

  • Black sheet

  • Wear-resistant sheet

  • Checkered (embossed) sheet

  • Pickled sheet

  • ST52 sheet

  • A516 sheet

  • A283 sheet

  • A36 sheet

  • Cover plate sheet
